Geminids Meteor Shower

The Geminid Meteor Shower is a wonderful opportunity to view this spectacular cosmic event from the summit of Mt. Lemmon (9175 feet elevation). The Geminids create a wondrous shower with bright "falling stars." This shower can have as many as 60 meteors per hour. We will have a half moon at this time.
Bring your chairs, binoculars, cameras and blankets and prepare to enjoy this dark sky extravaganza and the alpine setting at the SkyCenter- home to Arizona's Largest dedicated public telescope which will be available to look through during the night!

Price includes a SkyNights program, a light dinner, late-night snacks and take-home items.

Reserve your spot now for this popular event as the seats go quickly.

This program is part of the UA Science: SkyCenter and is located at
Steward Observatory:  Mt Lemmon Observatory
